Culturally Enriching Customers With Exotic Wares From Around The World

With a world that is so rich in diversity and culture, it is a shame that so many focus primarily on what they find familiar and do not branch out to experience different things. But not me. My name is Shane Silverstone and I have an amazing treasure trove of imports from around the world. It is very difficult and expensive to find products that suit my tastes because so many businesses do not know how to find and market exotic products that may actually be a hit domestically. For that reason, I have decided to create a blog dedicated to the exciting world of business and imports!

3 Ways To Reward Employees At The End Of The Year

Tonya Gomez

A great way to keep employees invested in your business is by rewarding them for their production and behavior. These awards work best if the employees know what the targets for the rewards are, so that they can strive to meet these targets. Below are a few examples of areas where you could reward your employees as well as a few ideas of appropriate rewards for your employees.

Reward Areas

First, you need to determine what type of behavior and outcomes you want to reward. It is best to have rewards in a few different types of categories so that you are able to reward different types of employees.

First, you should base one of your rewards on production efforts. For example, if you employees sell games, reward the employee that sells the most games. Or if your employees sell insurance packages, reward the employee that sells the move insurance packages in a set period of time.

Second, your should base one of your rewards on attendance, especially if this is an issue for your business. Reward the employee who didn't miss any work during a set period of time. Or reward the employee who was most willing to fill in shifts that were empty.

Third, base another reward on customer service and/or attitude. Who provides the best customer service? Who helps out customers the most and gets the most customer complements? You want to reward your employees for working well with the public.

Types Of Rewards

There are also different types of rewards you can offer. The first type of reward is one of the easiest for you to give and may be the most rewarding for employees - work related rewards. For example, you could reward your employees with casual dress days, extra paid day off work, an extra sick day or another work related reward

The second type of reward you can give is a cash award. You could give a bonus for each reward. If there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for the reward, you could award each level a different monetary value. Cash is always a nice reward, especially at the end of the year.

The third type of reward you can give your employees is a gift reward. The type of gift depends upon your employees. For example, if you run an outdoor store, it makes sense that your employees would appreciate an outdoor related gift. Try to choose gift rewards that fit with the overall attitude and spirit of your workplace that you think employees would really enjoy. Or, you can go with gift cards to local restaurant and attractions, which almost anyone can appreciate.

Boast employee morale this year by rewarding your employees for their production, attendance and custom service and provide them with work-related rewards, cash rewards or gift rewards. Contact a company, like Trophy Awards, for more help.
